Wellbeing Starts Within—and Grows Through Connection

Wellbeing Network exists to inspire, connect, and empower people to discover the wellbeing that already exists within them. We believe every person has the capacity to live with great health, purpose, resilience, and joy, and that stronger individuals create stronger families, workplaces, schools, and communities. By bringing people, organizations, and ideas together, we cultivate collaboration that helps communities flourish—one relationship, one conversation, and one act of service at a time.

Our organization began in 2007 as KidZone Community Foundation, serving children and families throughout Southern Oregon. As we listened to our community, we recognized that the need extended far beyond any one age group or single issue. In 2025, we embraced a broader vision, becoming Wellbeing Network. While our name and mission evolved, our purpose remained the same: to bring people together, foster meaningful connections, and create opportunities for every individual and every community to be well.

We believe that people are inherently well, and that each persons' innate capacity for wellbeing can be awakened, nurtured, and shared.

Current Projects

Art Pal Project

The Art Pal Project, brought to you by Wellbeing Network, is a collaboration between Kids Club at Club Northwest in Grants Pass, Oregon, and the Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad, India. Inspired by the idea that the language of the heart is universal, the project invites children to connect through art rather than words. Like a traditional pen pal program, Art Pal builds friendships across cultures through drawings, paintings, and other creative works—without a language barrier.

Our first invitation to the children was beautifully simple: What does love look like? The heartfelt artwork we’ve received from both communities reminds us that kindness, joy, family, nature, and hope are shared by children everywhere.

The Art Pal Project is just beginning, but we believe it has the potential to grow into a network of friendships, collaborative art experiences, and perhaps one day even student exchanges. Most importantly, it gives children an opportunity to connect across the world and discover their shared humanity.

We welcome anyone inspired by this vision. Whether you have ideas, resources, relationships, or simply a desire to help children build bridges of understanding, we’d love to hear from you and explore how we can grow the Art Pal Project together.

Current Events

When Scarlett Lewis lost her six-year-old son, Jesse, in the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy, she faced a choice no parent should ever have to make. Rather than allowing hate to define her future, she chose courage, forgiveness, compassion, and hope.

From that decision grew the Choose Love Movement—an evidence-based initiative transforming schools, families, workplaces, and communities around
the world.

Today, Choose Love programs have reached more than 15,000 schools in all 50 states and over 120 countries, empowering millions with practical skills for resilience, connection, emotional intelligence, and thoughtful response.

Whether you’re a parent, educator, student, healthcare professional, business leader, nonprofit leader, public servant, or simply someone who believes our communities can become stronger and more connected, this unforgettable evening will leave you inspired, encouraged, and equipped with practical ways to make a difference—one choice at a time.
